[Wactclc-primo] Article is not "available online" as it indicates

The article is available in Research Library, the CDI record is accurate. There just isn't a corresponding record for the journal in the CZ collection, most likely because the journal's name has changed, and there IS a record for that (Collection and Curation), but Primo isn't associating them. I've opened a case with data services asking them to fix it. Meanwhile, since Research Library is an aggregator package, it's most likely marked that you subscribe to everything in the collection, so it isn't looking at the actual portfolios you have activated, it's just providing everything. You can change it to say you only subscribe to some things and when the CDI updates it should remove the records for titles that don't have active portfolios in Alma.

It’s in our Primo too and when I look at the “Source” it says it is coming from ProQuest Research Library.

However, like you, we don’t actually have it. I checked the journal title and ISSN in Alma.



My suspicion is that it’s an alternative coverage record in EBSCO. And, low and behold it is in: Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts.



And in EBSCO it’s also not really there, so I don’t think opening a ticket with Ex Libris would help.



One more thing: I found this fun little note on the Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts collection in Alma (which I don’t think we have activated) so I wonder how much control we have over those citations anyway.

I can't see where this article is coming from. I searched electronic portfolios and electronic titles and cannot find them. If it is not available online, why is it showing up as available? Is this something I need to submit a support case for?
