My attention was split yesterday so I am thankful for the recording. Figured out my ProQuest links were still using SFX and the custom Alma link I'd created was based on the old Primo! Got it all sorted.  However our Ebsco custom parameters don't look like any of the suggested ones (it's MUCH longer) and I don't know where it came from, but it's working just fine as is so I don't really want to touch it!

I just updated our Ebscohost with the query string from Highline (with DOI) and it works great.

One thing to note, though: when I first submitted it in Ebsco Admin, I got an error message telling me that there was a blank space somewhere, and it would not allow me to save my changes. I had to call Ebsco support. I sent their technician the very same URL and query string that I had pasted in, and once he entered it, it worked. I double-checked, and was able, after that, to go in and edit the settings without a problem. So, not sure if that was an issue with the way I copied/pasted or what, but something to be aware of when you try this.

Also, just FYI (and included in the notes), Naoko at Highline found Ebsco's documentation for setting up a parameters for OpenURL configuration.

Ebsco's recommended OpenURL string looks like:

So we now have 3 potential OpenURL parameter strings for Ebsco:

The community-sourced version from Alma-L
The version Naoko worked out through her SF case
The Ebsco-documented version

All 3 are in the meeting notes, and I'm sure all 3 can do the trick.

Please post any feedback to our lists regarding which you find works best.

My recommendation to start would be to use Naoko's original version, with the addition of the DOI:
