Yes, I've seen something like this. I don't have any specific title examples, but I noticed it when I was doing a Catalog search for eBooks from a local collection that should have appeared.
I don't know if it was a passing thing, or if it was resolved when I reloaded that collection this week, but I can find them now.

Subject: [Wactclc-primo] Title search not showing up in Primo VE

I was searching for a title that was recently added to our catalog in Primo: The Emotionally Health Child: Healping Children Calm, Center and Make Smarter Choices.

When I did the search in All Sources, it shows up.

When I change the limiter to Library Catalog, it does not.

Also, when I type in the first part of the title, it doesn't show up. In old Primo, weren't we able to search for titles just by part of the title and it would appear? Is there any way to make Primo VE do the same thing?

I also am unable to search for the author, Maureen Healy, in the "Library Catalog" search and get any results. I can search for other authors, like John Steinbeck, in the "Library Catalog" and get results.

It's happening with other books that were recently added, as well, like George Grosz: The Big No. However, other new books that we added, like Sue Monk Kidd's Secret Life of Bees behaves as expected in both Library Catalog and All Sources search.

I don't know what the problem is here, but has this happened to anyone else, and how can I fix it? I've looked at the MARC records and the item records and can't see any obvious problems. Is it related to the fact that these records have subtitles? But why would that affect whether the author is searchable? It's a total mystery. Should I open a Salesforce case about this?

Thanks!

Elena
