The 'boost factor' is the setting that seems to have the most impact, so my current thinking is that is the one to focus on.


I'd start with something between 7 and 10, and see if that has a desireable impact.


The way these settings work is to modify the Primo-calculated relevance rating for a search result.


The boost factor simply multiplies the Primo-calculated relevance score by whatever number you use.


The number of results to boost specifies how  local many titles in the search results to adjust.


The "Boost records with a score" indicates whether to boost local results that already have a high, medium, or low relevance.


Position of boosted records is just where the boosted records end up in the search results.


Effects of blending changes are immediate, after saving the change and refreshing Primo, so testing changes is easy to do.


One thing to note, when editing blending for 'local' results, local results are records coming from Alma, which will include ebooks and ejournals, in addition to your physical materials.

Wade, How did you get to the blending configuration page for Primo, that you showed today?  I had to step out for a few minutes, and the visual on the recording is to blurry to read!
