Passed the test. I watched the videos and took each of the quizzes in a couple of hours. As a result, was able to complete the actual exam in 5 minutes.

I have passed the VE admin certification exam. VE is more confusing than I anticipated, based on the training videos.

Some of you on the call today mentioned the Primo VE Certification program, which as those folks know, is available and ready.

As per the attached Primo Articles email sent out by Ex Libris yesterday (5/21), both the self-paced training materials and the self-scheduled test are available now:
https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Training/Primo_VE/00_Primo_VE_Administration_Certification_Overview

Those who have expressed interest in being a part of the early adopter working group will want to consider doing the certification test sooner rather than later.
The process of reviewing the training materials and passing the test will give you a better sense of what Primo VE is all about.

Just FYI, I just took the test cold this afternoon, without any preparation (other than what I learned at ELUNA), and passed without too much trouble (100% score).

I actually learned a lot about Primo VE configuration in those 40 minutes. (The test covers some nuts-and-bolts stuff that I didn't see presented at ELUNA.)

And I don't see any big technical hurdles in implementing Primo VE. You can get as fancy, or stay as simple, as you want with Primo VE.
The upside is that Primo VE does give you the flexibility to do more with Primo configuration than we can do now, particularly with managing search scopes.

There are 14 questions total, and you do need to score 90%+ to pass. (So, don't miss more than one!)

You are given 60 minutes to complete the test. It took me about 40 minutes.
Obviously, I spent that 40 minutes referring to the course materials as I took the test.
And as I said, that 40 minutes of time with the training materials gave me a basic sense of Primo VE mechanics and functionality.
