Edmonds Community College and the Learning Resources Division invite
applications for a tenure track full-time Systems and Collections Librarian
that reports to the Associate Dean of Learning Resources. The college seeks
an innovative professional with strong technology and problem-solving
skills who will support Edmonds' mission, 'Teaching | Learning | Community'
through work with students, staff, and faculty in a campus climate that
promotes cultural diversity and student success.

The Systems and Collections Librarian provides technical expertise,
day-to-day administration, staff training, and broad support for library
software solutions. The incumbent will use a variety of technologies, along
with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to provide the best
possible experience for library patrons and staff as they seek, access, and
maintain the information in our library systems. This position provides
strategic direction, leadership, and coordination of library collections to
ensure that library collections support the educational mission of Edmonds
Community College and meet the needs of our diverse community.

The Systems and Collections Librarian assists library users with reference
and research questions; serves as liaison to instructional divisions or
college programs; and teaches a limited number of information literacy
instruction sessions in lecture, lab, or online settings.
