That link is generated by some sophisticated customization work done by the institution itself:

https://www.orbiscascade.org/blog/9/?bid=119?

The easier way to accomplish something similar is what some of our institutions already do.

Namely, set up a general electronic service (in Alma, Fulfillment / Fulfillment Configuration / Discovery Interface Display Logic / General Electronic Services.

Just point the electronic service to a URL that allows patrons to report issues to the library, and configure the electronic service to display as desired (only to logged in users, to all users, etc).

You have such a service at BTC set up already, but it only displays to logged in users currently. It's the 24/7 Ask a Librarian service. So, it makes sense that it's limited to logged in users.

Green River is a good example to look at, as they have 3 different electronic services set up, which are available regardless of whether you are logged in to Primo.

Instead of these links, you could have one labeled "Report an Error", and send the link to some error reporting form on your web site.

Hi Wade,

I was looking at PSU's Primo page and did a search on 'stress'. :)

https://search.library.pdx.edu/primo-explore/openurl?rft_val_fmt=info:ofi%2Ffmt:kev:mtx:book&ctx_enc=info:ofi%2Fenc:UTF-8&rft.pub=Time-Life%20Books,&ctx_tim=2017-09-07T19:16:42EDT&rft.dat=2107993&rft.place=New%20York%20:&rft_id=info:oclcnum%2F2107993&rfr_id=info:sid%2F2433.on.worldcat.org:xwc&ctx_ver=Z39.88-2004&rft.aucorp=Time-Life%20Books.&rft.btitle=Stress&rft.genre=book&rft.aufirst=Ogden.&rft.pages=176%20pages%20:&url_ctx_fmt=info:ofi%2Ffmt:kev:mtx:ctx&url_ctx_fmt=info:ofi%2Ffmt:kev:mtx:ctx&rft.aulast=Tanner&rfr.id=2107993&rft.id=2107993&url_ver=Z39.88-2004&rft.date=%C2%A91976.&ctx_id=2107993&rft_dat=%7B%22stdrt1%22:%22Book%22,%22stdrt2%22:%22PrintBook%22%7D&vid=PSU&institution=PSU&url_ctx_val=&isSerivcesPage=true

They have a Report Error link in the details section.

The link takes you to a page for patrons to report errors/problems they encounter in Primo.

Is this something we can set up through Primo as Total Care customers, our IT department, or both?

Thanks,
Traci
