Tammy, yes, Resource Sharing requests are different than local requests. And are intended for sending on to Resource Sharing partners.

And Lesley is correct, you want to disable resource sharing requests in the 'request' rules for your TOUs.*

In addition, you want to hide the 'Resource Sharing Request' service (via  Display Logic Rules), which I have already done for you.

But for others that may be wondering...

Fulfillment Configuration > Discovery Interface Display Logic > Display Logic Rules

*And actually, if you just hide the service via the Display Logic Rules, to make the link disappear, the TOU rules won't actually matter too much. Because the link will already be hidden.

Hi Tammy,

It's in the TOU. You want to make sure in the "Request" tab of the TOU it says "Not Requestable for Resource Sharing."

You can find the associated TOU for your textbooks in the Fulfillment Config Utility and then click on the TOU to edit. Screenshots below.

How do I keep a Resource Sharing Request option from showing for reserve books in Primo?  We do not do ILL requests for textbooks.

Also, is a Resource Sharing Request the same as a hold request?
