[Wactclc-alma] linkout button

I can see the linkout button in your PVE customization package.

And I can navigate to the image with the following URL:

https://sbctc-shoreline.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/custom/01STATEWA_SHORLINE-SHORELINE/img/linkOut.png

Is that the URL you’re using? Maybe you were specifying /linkout.png instead of /linkOut.png?

URLs are often case sensitive, depending on what web server platform is being used. (Most Linux-hosted web sites will be case-sensitive about URLs. Windows server-based sites are not. So it’s kind of 50 / 50.)

I tried loading the button image to the customization package, but it didn't result in a valid url.
The format was definitely correct- it worked for our logo.

Now that I think of it, I want to say that I've tried loading other unprescribed files to the customization package with similar results, but my memory could be unreliable here. Has anyone else used the customization package to host other files successfully?

Or if you don't have access to a campus web server, you can even use the Primo customization package.

Just put the image you want to reference in the same directory as the logo in the primo customization package.

You can then reference it via a URL like so:

https://sbctc-shoreline.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/custom/01STATEWA_SHORLINE-SHORELINE/img/your-image-file-name.png

Our website image folder. I put it in a subfolder that explains the image isn’t used on the site.

Hi All,

Has anyone customized their button that links out from EBSCO, ProQuest, etc back to Primo?
If so, where are you hosting it?

We made one, and we were going to host it on LibApps, but thought better of it since SpringShare says to only use images hosted there on LibApps.
