Hi all,

If the student is not affidavit eligible, I would guess the active F1 would prevent them from being to use the Residence Questionnaire.  They'd need to work with an immigration attorney to determine whether it's advisable to terminate the F1.

Hi everyone,
For the first time I have two different students with both TPS (Temporary Protected Status) and an F-1 Visa. Neither student is eligible using the Residency Affidavit. As TPS is a qualifying immigration status, but F-1 is not. Interestingly, Google's AI says no, the student cannot qualify for resident tuition because of the F1 visa, but it also thinks that TPS is not a qualifying immigration status.

Have you run into this? What choice did you make?
