Please see below for the opportunity to attend this years ILAGO (Information Literacy Advisory Group of Oregon) annual summit. This is always a great event and Washington Librarians have often made up a significant number of attendees.
Subject: ILAGO 19th Annual IL Summit: Registration now open for May 15th!!
Registration is now open for the 19th annual Information Literacy Summit taking place virtually on May 15th, 2025. We are pleased to offer two no-cost opportunities to participate.
1:00 pm – Guest speaker, Mike Caulfield, co-author of Verified: how to think straight, get duped less, and make better decisions about what to believe online<https://search.worldcat.org/en/title/1372548935> (2023), will share thoughts on information literacy navigation, evaluation, and emerging imperatives.
2:30-4:00 pm – Information Literacy Rally
We want to hear from you! Come share Information Literacy updates from your institution and hear from others around the state. Topics can include:

Trends or new developments in your IL instruction
*
Generative AI and Information Literacy
*
Corequisite requirements and learning support
*
Dual credit & IL instruction
*
General Education or foundational IL outcomes
*
Serving students who are incarcerated
*
Bring your own IL topic – what’s at issue for your institution?
