SBCTC Contracting Opportunity: H5P and Pressbooks
The Washington Open ProfTech project is seeking contractors with experience integrating H5P interactive questions into Pressbooks and conducting format reviews for open textbooks. H5P questions have been pre-developed.
Scope of Work:

  *
Embed pre-developed H5P activities within existing textbook content on Pressbooks.
  *
Conduct a format review and fix the assigned textbook, ensuring:
     *
Consistent formatting
     *
Accurate chapter numbering and structure
     *
Proper image alignment and sizing
     *
Accessible, easy-to-read tables
     *
Responsive text display across screen sizes
     *
Functionality and layout integrity across export formats (EPUB, PDF, online).

Timeframe and Compensation:

  *
Project duration varies depending on the textbook length. The project will run from May 2025 to August 2025.
  *
Compensation ranges from $5,000 to $15,000 per project, depending on the textbook length.

Ideal Candidates:
We prefer individuals with experience in the following (but expertise can vary):

  *
Pressbooks
  *
H5P integration
  *
Image/Text formatting
