Cle,
This is rather unfortunate to hear this news. I appreciate the hospitality and drive you demonstrated when the LLC met at RTC. I wish you all the best as you readjust and adapt to this change.
Best,

Subject: [EXTERNAL][LIBRARYDIR] Cle- Former Associate Dean of Library Services at RTC
Dear Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share some significant news regarding my position within the institution. Today, I received formal notification that due to ongoing fiscal challenges, my position as the Associate Dean of Library Services has been eliminated. This decision is part of a larger restructuring initiative aimed at streamlining our operations, which will see the library department transitioning to report directly under the oversight of the Dean of Instruction, effective August 29, 2025.
Regrettably, this change means that I will no longer be able to fulfill my role as the state Chair of the Library Leadership Council (LLC). It has truly been a privilege to work alongside each of you and to collaborate on initiatives that support our shared goals in library services and education. I want to extend my heartfelt wishes for continued success to all members of the council and the institutions you represent.
Thank you for the valuable experiences and relationships. I will cherish the time spent working together.
Warm regards,
Cle
