At one point, Gerie, our bookstore hosted a vending machine for office supplies in the library. Pens, papers, little notebooks, but also headphones, USB drives, tiny staplers, little packets of aspirin. It was there for at least a decade, but rather than replacing it they let it age out.

Hello!

Your question had me wondering the same thing. We have two vending machines in the library foyer: one for snacks, the other for beverages. It turns out they're funded through a partnership between our Foundation and the Weinstein beverage company where Weinstein keeps a percentage of the sales, and the rest goes toward student scholarships. Hope this helps!

Hello: If you have a vending machine in your library, who paid for it to be there?

Happy Thursday.

Thanks,
