Instructional Designer Needed: Python for Cyber Security ($14K Compensation)


SBCTC seeks an instructional designer (ID) to support the Washington Open ProfTech project, a federally funded initiative creating open textbooks for professional technical programs. Specifically, we need an ID for the Python for Cyber Security textbook in development.

Primary tasks include:

  *   Keep the cohort on track by advising on deliverables, leading monthly meetings, updating the tracking chart, and troubleshooting issues.

  *
Review chapters for instructional design quality.
  *
Assist with chapter formatting per the project manual.
  *
Attend team meetings and provide progress updates.
  *
Collaborate with leadership to resolve challenges.

Compensation & Timeline

  *   Approximate compensation: $14,000.

  *   Project duration: January 2025 through March 2026
