We also used Checkpoint gates.
We are under construction right now for a retrofit and made the decision to just not use security gates going forward! 😬

We tested out dummy gates for a while at our smaller branch and had zero loss.
It's not a decision that works for every library, but the combination of factors made us really examine our loss ratios and we got admin support for the decision.

I'm sure this wasn't super helpful to you, but I couldn't resist chiming in since this decision was made final very recently! 😂

Hello,

I hear that Checkpoint is going out of business and that they are selling out their remaining RF Date Due and De-tuning supplies. Does anyone else use the Checkpoint security gate system? If so, have you identified a work-around or new product?
