LOL, yes we do limit, Claire! In fact, we won't let the physical items into the library. We either go look to see if something fits our collection development policy criteria, or we ask them to send a list to us so that we can evaluate. Then we only take the ones that we choose.

We tend to choose very few. In a very nice, gentle way.

Do you limit whether retired professors can donate to the library all the books in their offices from their entire career?
