Knowledge emerges only through invention and re-invention, through the restless, impatient, continuing, hopeful inquiry human beings pursue in the world,
with the world, and with each other.

Hi everyone,

I’m out on medical leave until March 1, but I would love to talk to anyone who’s interested about CCS course. When I get back, I’ll contact you all.

Thanks so much!

Amy

Hi!

I would really love to hear more about the SPSCC model too!

WWCC just moved FYE to the Library last month. This is a three credit course and I think the curriculum will probably stay the same because I am really hoping that we can start offering our 2 credit IL course which I am rebranding to Design Thinking and Learning--and hope to theme these into GP interests. We'll see it might be an interesting advising challenge.

At the Guided Pathways session this afternoon, I heard that SPSCC moved ownership of their College Success class to the library and redesigned it to be underpinned on information literacy rather than things like study skills. And it is way more successful that way. I’d love to learn more about this.

I’m opening this to all of you to find out how involved the library is in your College Success course, if you have one. And if not, do you have library research courses identified in your Guided Pathways?

Thanks,

Erica
