*Digital & Electronic Collections*
This Librarian position focuses on  digital and electronic collections . It
supports implementation, and administration of digital strategies that can
support and enrich every stage of the information-creation process for the
Shoreline Community College community. This position will manage digital
services to achieve maximum visibility and use of digital collections and
will leverage team expertise and technologies to expand capacity of
on-demand digital services at the point of need. Additionally, the person
in this role will identify and test digital tools and technologies to
advance teaching and scholarship with digitized primary and secondary
source materials. The person in this position will collaborate with faculty
on creation and adaption of open educational resources and principles
throughout the curriculum.

*Usability & Web Design *
This Librarian position focuses on  usability and web design . It
collaborates with the Learning Resources division and other college
constituents to develop and maintain systems that follow best practices of
accessibility and user design. This position is responsible for overseeing
library information and discovery systems, as well as other specialized
library systems, in a highly collaborative environment. This position
provides broad support, including first-line technical support and
day-to-day administration, within the library and in collaboration with
other college divisions in regards to information-seeking needs.  This
position collaborates to facilitate consistent discovery and access to
library resources across all platforms and formats, and acts as the primary
liaison with technology vendors and Technology Support Services (TSS).
Additionally, this position is expected to provide research and input on
new technology systems, software, and equipment to enhance the operation
and services of the library.

All tenure track librarians will participate in a core set of
responsibilities for the library including instruction, reference,
departmental liaison activities, outreach, and collection development,
under the direction of the associate dean. All tenure track librarians will
participate in library and college-wide planning and assessment projects
through service on teams, committees, task forces, and special projects, as
assigned, and actively engage in networking and professional development
through national/regional/local organizations.
