Downloaded apps are used daily by many of us, students and employees, so I don’t see it as an issue.

Our students don’t seem to have an issue – they are used to downloading apps so I don’t think that is off-putting to them.

Hi Claire,
I don’t have a solution to offer, but we did notice our Kanopy usage has gone way down this year. Our usage has gone down more than 50% year-to-year in October and November. Perhaps this is another reason why?
FWIW, I did try clicking “desktop site” on my phone’s browser to try to trick Kanopy, but that didn’t work. :)

Our librarians have raised this question: is it problematic that Kanopy now cannot be played on mobile devices unless the user downloads their app?
Does anyone else think this is problematic and if so, do you have a solution? Thanks as always, Claire
