[LIBRARYDIR] Selling books

Hi Amy,

I don't believe there is a law that says we can sell library items.
Tammy Siebenberg and I (and another person) were working on getting a law enacted or clarity from the legislature or SBCTC.
I plan to continue that work this year if ok'd by LLC, but it won't come in time to help with your plans.

If someone would like to work on this project, let's get started!

I know we have discussed this before, but I am having a heckuva time finding the state statutes that govern selling state resources. We are doing a major weed, and I would love to have a book sale. Or, I would like to donate the books to our foundation, and then have a book sale. I am going to run it by our VPI and legal department, but if anyone has more to add, I'd be grateful.
