[LIBRARYDIR] statistics platforms

We aren't currently tracking desk activity, but I would suggest developing something lightweight in-house using Microsoft Forms or Google Forms. It would all go into a spreadsheet that could visualize the data however you want. Without a significant/stable budget, this type of solution makes more sense (for us).

Hi all,

Our library is looking for a statistics gathering service. We were initially interested in Gimlet, but their non-competition clause is causing us some concern:

Agreement Not to Compete

You agree that you will not use the Site, the Services, your Account, or any information obtained through your access to the Site, the Services, or your Account, to compete with Sidecar or otherwise interfere with Sidecar's business or other interests. You agree that you will not engage (as employee, owner, member, partner, contractor, agent, or otherwise) in any business that competes with Sidecar anywhere in the United States for two (2) years after you have ceased accessing the Site and the Services and closed your Account.

I'm aware of at least a couple WACTC's that use Gimlet but I would be interested to hear what other platforms are in use. Does anyone have another stats service you would recommend? We're also looking into DeskTracker and LibInsight.
