Our library follows the campus rules which require all students to do vaccine attestations in ctclink (which includes exemptions). Once they do that, they are issued a yellow-colored lanyard with an ID that reads TCC student (staff/faculty wear a navy-colored lanyard with ID). This is required and makes it easy to identify who may be a visitor on campus. Visitors are asked, then, to check in at a specific building and go through an official health check, etc. We also have campus health monitors that walk through buildings, including the library, to make sure everyone is wearing their lanyards, masks, etc.

Anyway, that's our process!

Hi Claire
We are not. When question comes up at emergency planning meetings statement is that restaurants are private businesses, we are public institutions. We've been told that we may not check vax cards.

Subject: [LIBRARYDIR] vaccination cards?

Hi all,

Is anyone checking vaccination cards for admission to the library? I'm hearing from my colleagues in the library that since restaurants and bars are doing it, we should be doing it as well. What do you think?

Also, happy holidays!
