Jaclyn,

Pierce College doesn't have anything to offer just yet. We are currently in the process of revising our policies as well. Before the pandemic, we had stopped charging most overdue fines and limited to replacement fees, but we know there's still more to do.

We would also love to hear what others are doing.

Hi All. Spokane Community College's library department is working on revising our very outdated fines policy that is not student center, and frankly downright punitive. Do any of you have policies that are more in line with our guided pathways/holistic support services/equity work? If you aren't charging fines, what other methods are you using ensuring materials/technology are being returned? I'd really appreciate having some examples to share with my executive leadership.
