[LIBRARYDIR] FW: Request for Nominations - Cascadia Open Education Summit

Hi Everyone,



The Cascadia Open Education Summit is a conference co-sponsored by SBCTC, BCCampus, Open Oregon, and the Chancellor's Office of the California State University System. Last held in 2019, it showcases our region's deep commitment to Open Education.



The next Cascadia Summit will take place virtually April 27-29, 2021. Each co-sponsoring organization is providing a keynote speaker.  The keynote will be a one hour presentation on topics of interest to the Open Education Community.



While no explicit conference theme has been identified thus far, discussions of our system's commitment and work in Equity and Accessibility in Open Education contexts would certainly be welcomed, as would other topics in Open Education policy, research, and practice.



We're asking for your suggestions/nominations for Open Education Leaders to represent our system by delivering one of these one-hour keynote addresses. Nominations will be anonymized; and of course, feel free to self-nominate or  put forward more than one name. FYI, Boyoung is not eligible for nomination!



Please send me your nominations by close of business next Thursday, October 8.
