PROQUEST RENEWAL – NO PRICE INCREASE

The WSL Statewide Database Licensing project<https://sos.wa.gov/q/SDL> is pleased to announce that July 2020 – June 2021 renewal pricing for the ProQuest package has been finalized with zero increase for almost all participating libraries. This “hold the line” pricing is made possible by use of additional LSTA funds over and above the standard 50% subsidy rate, without which most libraries would have seen a cost increase of about 1.6%.

ProQuest is starting the invoicing process now, so libraries should expect to receive their invoices soon. ProQuest expects to finish releasing invoices next week.

The SDL package of ProQuest databases<https://sos.wa.gov/q/PQ> is available to all Washington non-profit libraries. K-12 libraries sign up through their respective Educational Service Districts<https://sos.wa.gov/q/ESD>. All others may use the Intent to Participate form found on the renewal page<https://sos.wa.gov/q/renewal>.
