This is a reminder of the upcoming webinar regarding PubMed and the NNLM. This webinar will take place from 11am to 12pm on 4/16/20.

Did you hear the big news? A new PubMed<https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/> is available from the National Library of Medicine! The National Library of Medicine provides many freely available resources, such as PubMed, PubMed Central (PMC), MedlinePlus, Genetics Home Reference, and more. Wondering what the difference is between PubMed and PubMed Central? Want to know more about how the PubMed search works? Where to get started searching for consumer health information? This webinar will also introduce you to the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Northwest Region<https://nnlm.gov/pnr>, your regional connection to the National Library of Medicine.

The webinar will be presented by Emily Hamstra, Outreach Coordinator at the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Northwest Region (NNLM PNR). Emily provides education related to health literacy and National Library of Medicine resources. Additionally, she does outreach to library and health professionals. Emily has worked in an academic library, public library, and for a library vendor.

This webinar will be partially shaped by requests/questions from CTC library workers submitted in advance-we want to make this webinar as useful to you as possible.
