[LIBRARYDIR] Quick question about gate counts

Our gate is broken, and no longer accurately tracks traffic. The cost to repair the gate would be in the hundreds of dollars just for a contractor to inspect the gate. Fixes would be additional cost. Money we do not have. We (mostly our student workers) do relatively precise headcounts actively every single hour we are open, which seems to be good for our documentation purposes.
