[LIBRARYDIR] faculty position adds-- how long to keep open?

Not rural, but for what it's worth...We shoot for one month in order to get to as broad an audience as possible. Sometimes the committee's availability doesn't allow that much time. Any longer and I'd worry about losing good candidates.

Just a question-when you advertise for a new tenure-track position in your library, how long do you keep the announcement out there before closing?  AS you might guess, I'm most interested in hearing from my rural colleagues, since we might differ from the urban folks-or maybe not??
