Hi all,

Many of us have attended the ACRL/Harvard Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians. I learned a lot about leadership from my stay and I used it to decide if I wanted to pursue a Ph.D. I loved the Harvard experience. They are known for using case studies as the foundation of their curriculum and I found it stimulating. The classes are held in a small, semicircular lecture hall and the discussions were Socratic in nature. The program provides a full experience beyond the classes.

I highly recommend this program for all library leaders.

Mindy
