[LIBRARYDIR] New Associate Dean for Library, e-Learning, and Learning Support Services as Grays Harbor

It is with great pleasure that I can say:

Susan Schreiner will join GHC on September 1, coming to us from Pittsburg State University's Leonard H. Axe Library, where she has served most recently as Associate Professor and Access Services Librarian.

Her experiences includes a wide variety of responsibilities, including coordinating with other departments and faculty on campus, using various technologies important to both library users and e-Learning, managing the internal business of the organization, etc.  Her academic background shows a BA in Sociology from UC San Diego, a Masters of Library and Information Science from UCLA, an MS in Business Administration from San Diego State, and just this past summer completed the American Library Association's Leadership Institute.  In short, she's well-prepared to guide GHC's Library, e-Learning, and Learning Support Services into the future, as well as contributing to the "out of campus" communities that help the Washington SBCTC system be so strong.

I know you all are as welcoming as anyone new to our state system can ever imagine-so just keep it up and I know things will be off to a great new day.
