I am searching for an article on faculty perceptions (misperceptions?) of students’ research abilities.  I vaguely remember it, but not well enough to hit on the keywords.  I searched Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts; ERIC; Academic Search Premier; the list of articles compiled by Erica; Google; and my own collection of articles, but I can’t retrieve it.  Our timeline for finding it is very short so I am reaching out.

Does this article ring a bell with anyone?
