Hi Boyoung,

I have a list from the bookstore with the classes that are using OER. Do you have the average price of a textbook that I can use as a multiplier?

Thanks,

Kitty

[Urgent] Congressional data request on OER cost savings

SBCTC has received a congressional data request on cost savings to students as a result of OER. As you know, we have established a system-wide code labeling the courses that use OER. However, it is being gradually implemented as colleges transition to ctclink.

In the absence of system wide data, we are respectfully requesting support from the colleges to share any data on cost savings as a result of OER. It does not need to be a complete report with details - a rough estimate would be sufficient and deeply appreciated.

Thank you,
Boyoung
