Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is accepting applications to fulfill the full-time exempt role of Director of Library Services.

Come help us create the library of the 21st century at the award-winning Walla Walla Community College Libraries located in eastern Washington. WWCC aims to be the catalyst that transforms our students' lives and the communities we serve. We are a small library family who provides equitable service to all our patrons. We are looking for a Director of Library Services to lead us in strategic planning, administrative oversight, and collaborative teamwork with administrative, staff, and faculty leaders across all campuses, as well as with partners from the greater community.

This has been a great 28 years working in the WWCC Library!  For the past 7 years, as director and then dean, I have really enjoyed LLC (which in my mind is still LMDC) and all the wonderful folks out there in Library Land.  You have all been a great support network and a valuable sounding board.  I know I wasn't always able to be there in person, so I have especially appreciated meeting everyone virtually.  My last day will be June 28, and we have a land/cruise tour booked for Alaska in July.  Thanks for the best wishes card for my upcoming retirement- I very much appreciated  receiving it from my colleagues.  Please pass on the job listing to anyone you may know of who won't mind living in southeastern Washington among the foothills of the Blue Mountains, sipping an occasional glass of wine!  Walla Walla has changed  a lot in the 30+ years I've lived her and mostly for the better.  I'm happy to field any questions that an applicant might have about the town or the college.
