[LIBRARYDIR] Library in global navigation menu of Canvas

It looks like Yakima's Canvas has a link our library's home page in the left navigation.  I can ask our eLearning people how they got it there.  If I go to one of the SBCTC courses (that use their canvas site), then the link disappears.

Oops!  Checked with Zach and it is NOT on the Global Navigation Bar on the far left.  He's not aware of anyone who's done that.  It IS on the list of resources that shows up for each class unless the instructor specifically turns it off.

Thanks, Jeanne and Melinda. I think making changes to the global nav menu is possible. While using the course nav menu is helpful, too, I'd like the Library to be ever-present in the global nav.

I appreciate your feedback. Let's see who else responds. I'll be sure to let you know how to make changes to the global nav if we succeed in doing so!

Hi Candice,

Ours is set up the same as Sally and Jeanne's. LLC Library is located on the dashboard in Canvas. I don't think you can change the main global navigation.
