the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library!

You’re invited to join us Monday, August 20, 2018, from 6–8 p.m. for a celebration of the 70th anniversary of WTBBL’s Streamline Moderne home.

At this special event, Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman will commemorate WTBBL’s timeless significance with the unveiling of a new exhibit about the library and its landmark building.

Secretary Wyman, Lieutenant Governor Cyrus Habib, a WTBBL patron, and an architectural historian will present a short program, and music will be provided by a live local quartet. Guests are also invited to join private tours of this unique Seattle icon and to sign up for an exciting raffle. Heavy hors d’oeuvres with a delicious selection of Washington beer and wine will be served.
