[LIBRARYDIR] New Document Link: SBCTC BAS and Library Considerations

Hi all,

I posted my dissertation on the wiki under Work Plan Objective: Applied Baccalaureates.

It is titled:  Libraries and the Community College Baccalaureate.  There are some stories there about librarian involvement in the development of the baccalaureate curriculum and the infusion of information literacy into the programs.  The colleges are anonymized however.

​I just read the stories, and I would encourage you to talk at the conference in terms of students, not just library resources or money.  What is the gap for the student because the funding or the curriculum collaborations didn't happen?     What is the power behind the money?  Hope this helps.

I’ve asked for a slot at the BAS Conference (Clover Park, Oct 24th) for Library Deans to present stories and discuss recommendations and next steps. Would love a couple of Deans to join me?
