ABERDEEN LODGING FOR LIBRARY LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

Our largest hotel right in town was recently purchased by Best Western and has been renovated. I haven't stayed there but I hear it is pretty nice. I secured a group rate with them for 25 rooms on Wednesday, July 5, at $107. This includes 17 rooms with regular kings and 8 "king suites." My recommendation is to call early and snag a suite. :) To lock in this rate (and a room) please make your reservation before June 21.

Per diem in Aberdeen for this date is $123 so you should all be good in that regard.

To get the group rate, simply say you are with the Library Leadership Council. I contemplated making it something cheeky but decided to let you all off easy.

ALTERNATE ACCOMODATIONS

Since you're going to be here in such beautiful weather, if you want to stay closer to the beach I wouldn't blame you.

Westport is just 14 miles out from the college. Trip Advisor recommends this place, which looks quite nice - https://www.marinacottages.com/cottages.htm

Ocean Shores is a bit further out (I prefer Westport) but they also have a whole smattering of options - https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g58648-Ocean_Shores_Washington-Hotels.html - Quinault Beach Resort and Casino is up there too if you want to get really fancy.

We're looking forward to having you visit us in Aberdeen this summer!

This year's summer LLC meeting will take place at Grays Harbor College on July 5-6.

Two notes about the date and times: first, mark your calendars because this is a Wednesday-Thursday meeting; second, given that this immediately follows a holiday, we will be starting at noon on Wednesday and then meeting for the full day on Thursday.
