Hello all,

I have created a Google doc for us to use to report out campus updates.   I used the names from the membership directory, so I hope they are accurate.

This is modeled on what eLC uses.  This way everyone can add information even if they aren’t present at the meeting.  I also like that they add pictures.  Another bonus is that you can go back and see what people have written at previous meetings, without digging through minutes.   We are going to pilot this for this meeting, so suggestions welcome.

Erica,

I'm familiar with gdrive docs, but I  guess I never saw the eLearning agenda - or paid enough attention to it to recall how they run that. Send me a link and I'll see if the leadership group would entertain that shift. I know Kennedy was leading a group on moving the wiki. Since she has some family challenges at the moment, I was considering taking that job on this summer if I can understand the needs for a new tool.

Hi Vivienne,

I really like the Google doc that eLearning Council uses for the college updates.  This way everyone can add information even if they aren’t present at the meeting. On Libraries & eLearning SIG Survey:
We had 13 responses which fell into the following themes:

*Let’s do dinner on Thursday: 6
*I want to stay for dinner but it’s a maybe due the drive: 3
*Fit it into the regular schedule: 3
*I’m not interested in this topic: 1

RESULTS: I reworked our lunch schedule on July 6th to allow for a brief meeting during lunch.
I moved the library updates to a Gallery Walk – which means we all need to bring flyers or write on the big stickies about things going on in our libraries.
AND: I also added a dinner meeting on Thursday PM for our SIG at the Breakers Seafood & Chowder House just 5 min from campus.
