[LIBRARYDIR] Academic libraries take over WLA!

Hey folks,

As the chair of the new Academic division of the Washington Library Association, I think it would be pretty cool if we could make the subject line into an actual headline this November.

If you or your staff are involved in interesting programs I would like to help fill out a conference session proposal. The conference isn't until November but proposals are due SOON; this means we just need an outline now and there would be a lot of time to fill in the details before the session had to be presented.

I am also looking for people who are interested in leadership positions in the division. Right now, I'm it, but I'd love to see more representation from the CTCs in WLA.

Please share this with your staff and encourage them to send me session ideas or let me know if they want to become an Academic Division officer in WLA.
