Thanks, Tim, for your leadership. I really appreciate your willingness to be our HR director for this consortium. I agree that the committee members were great! They were very professional and thorough. Those high standards paid off!

I need to give credit where it is due!

"THANKS SO MUCH!" to the other Screening Committee members:

Dale Burke

Mindy Coslor
Sally Sheedy

Tria Skirko

They did a great job of working with whatever came along, putting up with me, etc. but always kept the focus on finding just the right candidate. This was NOT a quick and easy process!

Couldn't have done it without them!

Thanks again team!

Later,

Tim

Hello All,

As the Personnel Manager for the Washington Community and Technical College Library Consortium (WACTCLC) I'm pleased to announce that Wade Guidry has accepted the Library Consortium Services Manager position.

To say we are thrilled to have Wade in this position and is an understatement. Wade's technical skills and experience are an excellent fit for us. He was formerly the Library Applications Administrator at the Collins Library at the University of Puget Sound. He has extensive experience with Alma and Primo, including a number of related certifications. Wade has lead migration teams as part of the Orbis Cascade Alliance and came highly recommend from both of those institutions, among others. I could go on and on, but you get the idea.

His official start date is July 11, but you may hear or possibly see him before then. He's excited about the position and is doing all he can to be ready to go on the 11th. Wade will eventually be picking up many of the duties currently being performed by Guy Hollingbury as part of the Alma/Primo project. Guy has done a good job but I'm sure he will be happy to just do the work he originally signed up for on that project.

While we finalize the creation of the consortium, Wade will be working under the Alma/Primo project Governance Committee. Once the consortium is established he'll officially answer to the consortium's Executive Committee. We hope to have the consortium agreement finalized at the upcoming LLC meeting and out to our presidents to sign by the end of the month. Stay tuned on that. Just waiting on some legal advice right now.

All that to say "WELCOME WADE!!"

Yours,

Tim
