[LIBRARYDIR] reciprocal borrowing for staff/faculty?

I am OK with this, too.  However, we have adjunct faculty who may be with us only for one quarter or very sporadically.  Because our patron expiration dates don't align with each other each quarter, I'd have to think through the accountability piece around returning materials (i.e. we don't hold transcripts or block registration for faculty, etc.)

For example, what would this look like for an adjunct faculty member from my college whose contract was not renewed and who did not return materials belonging to another college?

I think someone brought this up at an LLC meeting.  I don't have any problem providing service to faculty and staff.  We should formalize it though.

A question came up in one of my staff meetings about reciprocal borrowing for faculty and/or staff. Our document on the wiki only calls out reciprocal borrowing for students. But would staff and faculty from participating colleges also be able to take advantage of this borrowing agreement? Or would they have to go through ILL instead? I would think that we were to have a faculty come in from another college, and they are active in their own college's library system, they would be able to borrow materials similar to how a student would. But it doesn't say anything about faculty or staff.

Thoughts?
