[LIBRARYDIR] phone charging stations

Is the intent of phone charging stations and charger cable sets to help those students who don't have charger cables with them?  We have students plugging phones and computers into outlets all over our library and many of our study tables have popup outlets.  But if they didn't bring their charging equipment, we can't help them.  Providing a solution is a great idea.

In the middle of last quarter we purchased several different charger cable sets, put them in individual zip-lock bags and barcoded the bags.  We check them out to anyone who asks, even non-students (holding a piece of ID).  With no real publicity the use is low but growing.  I-phone charger is the most popular.

Do any of you have phone charging stations in your libraries, or perhaps on your campuses?  I'm talking about a station like at the mall or airport, perhaps with little lockers or maybe just shelves.  If you do, could you supply me with the name of someone I could chat with about it?  Our tech fee has supplied funding to install charging stations, and I'd prefer not to re-invent the wheel.
