Subject: New Interim Director at YVCC

Hello, I am writing to introduce myself to the rest of the members of the Library Leadership Council.

I have been appointed as the Interim Director - Library & Media Services at Yakima Valley Community College and will serve in this position until June 30, 2015.  It is expected that a permanent director to replace Joan Weber will have been hired to start July 1, 2015.

Can someone share with me what I am expected to do as a member of this Council?  What meetings am I expected to attend?  Can I attend remotely?  What else do I need to know?  I appreciate any guidance you can give.
