Yes, I'm retiring; the position is up for grabs and [to the best of my knowledge] has no internal candidates.

Newish building, excellent people, College is looking pretty spiffy, and enrollment is still good.  Position is very needed, excellent writers always welcome.

Me?  I'm going home to sleep in when I damn well feel like it and work on my writing and editing business.  37 years of experience at writing non-fiction, a lit degree, and 8 years of editing experience, et voilà!  I'm having great fun editing romance novels.  Discussing the proper use of commas and apostrophes in sex scenes is slightly bizarre but laughter inducing.

My personal independence day is July 4, 2014.  Best wishes to all of you!  rrs
