Good morning! Here is some information concerning arrangements for our upcoming spring meeting on May 1st and 2nd.

The campus map linked above has not been updated to show the newly renovated Building 22- the Center for Student Success- where we will be meeting. But, it does show building 22 in its correct location. It just isn't shaped like that anymore! Our meeting will be held in the Library, which is on the first floor of Building 22, and in the Instruction Room- 173. Thursday morning's ORCA meeting will be held in Building 23 Room 221.

On campus, Security will be blocking off 25 parking spaces in the visitors' parking area (Lot E) for Thursday, May 1st. I have requested that the spaces be reserved for Friday also, but Security may not be able to do this. Parking Friday morning at 8:30 will be much easier than mid-day Thursday, although the open spots may not all be in the visitors' parking lot! You will not need a parking permit either day.

The group block of rooms at the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia is active and ready to go. To make reservations, call 1-800-733-5466 and reference that you are with LMDC - Library Media Directors Council or group block code LMDC0430. You can also make your reservations online at www.olympia.redlion.com<http://www.olympia.redlion.com>, promo code LMDC0430.

The block of rooms will be held until April 17th. After that time you can still make reservations at the group rate, but it would be based on availability. So, if you haven't done so already, please make your reservation! The "Roaring Start" breakfast is complementary on Friday morning. It should be available for you ORCA folks on Thursday morning also, but be sure to ask. We will also have a continental breakfast available at the meeting Friday morning.
