Hi LTCA members,

Hope you are getting off to a good start this winter quarter.

We have slated the following two dates for winter meetings. I’ll send out a calendar invite as well.

LTCA Meeting Dates

Jan 28 from 9 am – 11 am
March 4 from 9 am – 11 am

General Updates – 15 – 20 min.

  *   1050 rule update snapshot
  *   Board elections process
  *   Lindsay’s survey about winter quarter plans
What does training look like after COVID? Emphasis on CRLA – 60 Min.
Form a workgroup to research how we recruit tutors – especially student tutors – during the ongoing pandemic? – 30 min.

Also, I’m sad to share that our board member Lindsay Burke is leaving her position at Cascadia and will also be leaving her board position as treasurer in the LTCA. If somebody would like to step in for her through the remaining of her term – spring quarter – let me know.

As a reminder, we will have board elections this winter, so please consider running for one of the positions – chair, chair-elect, secretary, or treasurer. We will talk more about this at our next meeting.
