Great.  Yes this teacher role does not do enough as our faculty advise and see students not enrolled into their classes.  Please include Caren Courtright for BBCC to these meetings.  jody

I decided to ask LACES directly about faculty’s ability to see test results. Here is how they replied.

Dear Tobi Jean,

Teachers don't have access to the Student area of LACES, but there are reports they can run in the Class area that include the assessment data.  In the Class area, click Reports in the upper right menu and then run one of the following reports:
·        Class Points for Next EFL
·        Pre and Post Assessments by Class
There are also other Assessment reports available in the Class area but these are the ones teachers typically find most useful.

I believe we can use data entry clerk roles, just not certain ones. For example, college administrators at least here at SPSCC are able to assign Data Entry Clerk I and II roles, but not Data Entry Clerk III.

Good morning Jenna,

At BBCC we have been struggling with the faculty permissions.  They can only see their class and not assessments.

When I spoke with Shannon at the training, she suggested to try as ‘advisors’ but then each student has to be mapped to the faculty.

Our problem is we have tenured faculty advisors that will have students not in their classes and they can’t see all the information needed to conduct advising.  Also our Associate/part time faculty need to be able to see testing scores, case notes (and make notes), enter attendance, see their grad plans and other uploaded documents.

We decided to go with

Data Entry Clerk I for Associate Faculty
