[Hsetestcenters] Online GED Testing Availability and Information

Hi, all!

Online GED Testing is now available to test takers 16 years of age and older taking the English version of the test.  Test takers ages 16-18 still must have their Approval to Test/Enroll, Letter of Homeschooling, or Open Doors Enrollment Confirmation form approved by a test center.  If test takers cannot find a test center to work with them on the approval of their forms, I will assist the test taker.  Test takers still must have taken the  GED Ready and scored "Likely to Pass" in the last 60 days to be able to schedule a test online.

The Spanish version and the ability for retakes is coming October 1.  There is a new page to help test takers with online testing:  https://ged.com/take-the-ged-test-online/  This is a much nicer concise page for test takers to get all the information they need about testing online.

Attached is a breakdown of the differences between face-to-face and online testing.  I thought you would find this very useful, as you work with students that may be testing in both environments.
