panel where we'll discuss the "why" and the "how" of committing to
paradigm-shifting equity work.

*Learn how to incorporate race, equity, inclusion, and justice (REIJ)
practices that are actually IMPACT-ful.* In addition to two author-led
conversations on forthcoming books that centers emancipatory pedagogy for
hypermarginalized students, this years’ SLI will also feature workshops on
how to develop equitable, sustainable programming. We'll hear from
community college students that participated in the Initiative in
Diversity, Equity, Antiracism, and Leadership (IDEAL) Fellowship and used
the IMPACT equity toolkit to make policy recommendations to their campuses.
